With the gift giving season behind us, now is the time to tap into your customers personal shopping habits.

What items would you customers like for themselves?

What are you doing in store, that your customers would be interested in?

Now's the time to let your customers know. Here's a few ideas for Post Christmas Marketing:

1) Select your message: Determine what type of message you want to send to your customers. What promotions are in store that your customers should know about. What new products? What types of items are ideal for that personal purchase? You may select just one message, or you may select several messages based on the customer you are giving the message to.

2) Select your customers: You can send your message to every customer, or select which customers to send particular messages to. As an example, you could select all customers who purchased in December, purchased in 2012 or purchased in the last five years. You could select all customers who purchased an engagement ring in 2012 who have not yet purchased their wedding ring. You could select all VIP or best customers.

3) Spreading the message: After you work out what messages you want to spread, it's time to start spreading. Here's some ways to spread your message:

- On the bottom of your receipts (use the manage printable documents area)

- Email (email newsletter or bulk personalized email)

- Text Message (SMS)

- Personal printed letter

- On your website and mobile site

- Phone

- Facebook

- Twitter

- Pinterest
